Summer Evans Studio is a salon located in Fairfield County, Connecticut that strives to provide our clients with an unforgettable experience. For over 7 years, we have been dedicated to providing the best in quality services and making every visit with us one to remember. Our staff is well-rounded; each stylist has their own special style they bring and together our strength lies in the combination of it all. We know that when our clients walk through the door, they want to relax and be pampered, and that's exactly what they can expect!

At Summer Evans Studio, we believe in always progressing and evolving, never settling in comfort. We focus on continuing education and strive to bring positivity to the hair world. Every Tuesday we offer education seminars in our salon so that our staff is learning something weekly and is keeping up with all the modern trends. We also attend classes once a month and have even traveled to Miami to better our skills! We do all this because we know that our clients depend on us to provide them with the best possible service and results, and we want to make sure that we exceed their expectations. 

Meet the Owner, Summer Evans

Not everyone knows what they want to do from a young age, but salon owner Summer Evans has dreamed of being a hairstylist. She began doing hair at the age of 15 and has never looked back, building her skills, her team, and her client base for 25 years. Nowadays, Summer recognizes that everyone has a different story and your hair should reflect that! With tailored looks to each individual client based on face shape, hair texture, and personal style, her goal is to make you feel your best. She aims to build relationships with clients based on mutual trust and respect, resulting in an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. From brewing specialty coffee for clients to creating "Instagrammable moments,” Summer Evans wants guests to have a positive and unique hair experience.

  • How did the salon come to be?

    Ever since she was 15 years old, Summer Evans knew that being a hairstylist was her calling. She had the chance to prove it one summer when she cut her friends' hair and saw how she could transform their appearance with just a few simple skills. Post-graduation, Summer sought out experience in Greenwich by working at different salons throughout Connecticut alongside other stylists. When it came time to open up her own salon, she wanted to create a positive environment that didn't perpetuate the negative hair salon stereotypes, like cattiness. Today, Summer employs multiple passionate stylists who are dedicated to making everyone feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. Summer's Salon is a safe space for people of all backgrounds, genders, and ages to come and feel empowered about their appearance. 

  • What is the meaning behind your logo?

    The Summer Evans Studio logo is an ode to Summer’s niece, who passed away a couple of years ago. Her niece had always looked up to Summer as a true role model. She always told her aunt “If you can do it, I can do it, too” and that is what pushed Summer to get to where she is today, standing tall as the founder and owner of her own salon. Every time Summer walks through her salon doors, she remembers her niece's encouragement and strives to continue making her proud. 

  • What makes your coffee so special?

    At Summer Evans Studio, we take great pride in creating a memorable client experience for every person who walks through our doors. One of the most notable aspects of the experience is our specialty coffee. During your appointment, your stylist will serve you an exquisite cup of roasted coffee complete with a colorful butterfly design on the top. Our clients love enjoying this aesthetic hot beverage while they talk with their stylist and get the perfect look.

  • Are there any spots to take pictures after I get my hair done?

    Yes! We’ve worked hard to make our salon a perfect place for you to take pictures. We have plenty of natural light and modern furniture that makes for the perfect backdrop for your Instagrammable hairstyle! We also have a black rope swing with a fun, colorful backdrop to add even more flair to your photos. At our salon, we want you to feel confident and proud of how you look after leaving our salon, so don’t forget to bring your phone and snap some pictures! Plus, our staff are always happy to help you find the best angles and poses so that you can get amazing photos and show off your new look.
